With the early light, I didn&#8217;t expect much in the way of pictures, but Nature was on full display and I managed a few publishable shots.<br \/>\nYes, the <A HREF=\"https:\/\/www.allaboutbirds.org\/guide\/Great_Egret\/\">Great Egrets<\/A> are back. This is the time of year I see them around here.<br \/>\n<A HREF=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2hc4qGH\"><IMG SRC=\"\/media\/IMGP2844_0001_tn.png\"><\/A><br \/>\nI reached an impasse working my way up a little feeder creek, but just as well, as I didn&#8217;t want to disturb what appeared to be a family of <A HREF=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raccoon\">Raccoons<\/A>.<br \/>\n<A HREF=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2hc5KWU\"><IMG SRC=\"\/media\/IMGP2662_0012_tn.png\"><\/A><br \/>\nAnd then while I was snapping pictures of them, a <A HREF=\"https:\/\/www.allaboutbirds.org\/guide\/Great_Blue_Heron\/\">Great Blue Heron<\/A> comes strolling by right behind the Raccoons.<br \/>\n<A HREF=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2hc5B5W\"><IMG SRC=\"\/media\/IMGP2665_0011_tn.png\"><\/A><br \/>\nThere was a splash, and I assume he either got breakfast or nearly so, and then ambled back the other way; you can see a Raccoon tail in the lower right.
